Cathy is a Pastor/Missionary’s kid who lived in 18 different houses by the time she graduated high school. She has lived in Upstate New York for over 41 years where she and her husband have raised four grown kids and are now “Mimi and Papa” to 7 grandkids. Cathy has served in volunteer youth ministry for many years and built her professional career in the field of addictions counseling and prevention. Her work has been concentrated on at-risk youth and incarcerated individuals. She has extensive experience with challenging populations, including more than 10 years serving in the NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision prison system. She currently serves as a Community-Based Youth Counselor as well as an independent Life Coach. Cathy’s education includes AAS in Chemical Dependency Counseling, BS in Community & Human Services with a concentration in Prevention Programming, and is a certified Master Life Coach who specializes in grief.
